Yeah. It's bullcrap, but hey, I'm not complaining. But yeah, you can get some funky GPAs. 3.0 unweighted but 4.2 weighted.

At my high school they had too many people with all A's and hence 4.0 unweighted GPAs, including me. So when deciding the top-ranked people in the class they looked at weighted GPAs. Since I was in the magnet program I was forced to take two years of these magnet classes that were 4.0 weighted as opposed to the 5.0 IB classes. There was only one person ranked above me who was also in the magnet program. The location of my house was the reason I didn't get to give a speech at graduation. Fucking bullshit.
