| My power rankings and explanations:
1. New England Patriots- As much as I hate to say it, they've loaded up again. I'm seeing similarities between 2007 and now. 15-1 isn't out of the question.
2. Green Bay Packers- Didn't lose much, didn't gain much. Will get a lot of guys back from injury. A healthy Ryan Grant will be huge. 14-2 anyone?
3. Atlanta Falcons- Good young O, solid D. Mortgaged the future for Julio Jones, but it'll buy them a NFC Championship berth this year. 14-2 as well isn't out of the question.
4. Baltimore Ravens- Maybe a little home bias this year, but besides the O-Line (which is better than most think), there's no real weakness on this team. I see 14-2 as the high end, 11-5 as the basement.
5. Pittsburgh Steelers- Yeah, I hate to say it, but there's no real weakness here either. They could be tied for 4th with Baltimore. 13-3 is likely, as is 12-4.
6. New York Jets- Continuing the AFC run, the Jets have almost everything needed. Signing Nnamdi would push them to #2, but since they didn't, their D remains only great, and not scary. The O still leans on Shonn Greene, and without some maturity from Sanchez, it's hard to see them competing with New England. 11-5 is to be expected.
7. New Orleans Saints- The O is still scary good. They'll be tough competition for the Falcons in the South. The D isn't a worry except for the getting-older line. 12-4 anyone?
8. Philadelphia Eagles- The Dream Team won't make it out of the Divisional round. The O revolves around Vick staying healthy. He doesn't, and they don't make the playoffs. McCoy is overrated. I like 12-4 for this team, with 11-5 possible as well.
9. San Diego Chargers- The O is good, especially with V-Jax and Floyd. The D is suspect, and with the high powered AFC Offenses, you can't like their chances past winning the division. 12-4 ONLY because the weak divisional schedule.
10. Dallas Cowboys- If Romo's healthy, they have a very good O and the D is still solid. They will challenge for the NFC East at 11-5.
11. Indianapolis Colts- The Colts' reign of the AFC South is coming to a close in the next two years. If Manning is out for the first month as reports say, they'll drop fast, not winning the division. The D lost a couple of key pieces and the O is unhealthy. Not a good combo. However, any time they have Manning, they seem to rake in wins. Even if he's only good for 10, they'll win 8 of those 10, going 10-6.
12. New York Giants- Possibly one of the most underrated teams, and could make me look silly for putting them on the brink of the playoff field. Manning is a good young QB, the running game is powerful, the receivers are awesome even after losing Smith, and the D is always above average. A sleeper team at 11-5.
13. Houston Texans- Awesome O and the D got a lot better with Joseph. Manning is the only thing keeping this team from winning the division this year. 9-7 is realistic, with 11-5 AND the division not out of the question.
14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Best young team in football. Still a couple of years away from seriously competing, but look for them to be on the up and up. 9-7 is good, but 10-6 is not unrealistic.
15. St. Louis Rams- The receivers are suspect, as is Bradford's health. But the D isn't a weakness and they still have Steven Jackson, even if Father Time is starting to creep in. Look for them to take the AFC West handily at 9-7.
16. Detroit Lions- If the Pack isn't in this division, the Lions are in the playoffs. But because they are, they're out. A lot rests on Stafford and his receivers, specifically Megatron. The D is up and coming, but not there yet. A great team in 3 years, but not now, at 8-8.
17. Kansas City Chiefs- I like the O, even if Cassel is overrated. But last year was a fluke. Look for a 8-8 or 7-9 mark, with 9-7 a possibility.
18. Seattle Seahawks- Their QBs are...Tarvaris Jackson and Charlie Whitehurst...? Who? They loaded up on other skill positions, but other than that, the O is NOT scary, and the D is mediocre. I fully expect 7-9.
19. Chicago Bears- With all the Cutler controversy and an ancient D, .500 would probably be a good year in Chi-Town. 7-9 is more likely.
20. Jacksonville Jaguars- If they get the QB mess sorted out now, they'll be a legitimate 9-7 team. But with that going on, 7-9 or even 6-10 is likely.
21. Miami Dolphins- This is a team in reverse. Henne is not a starting NFL QB, and Marshall is average because of it. Look for no more than 7-9 here as well.
22. Arizona Cardinals- The O is good only because of Larry Fitzgerald. Other than that, who? I almost regret this spot for them, for fear it's too high. I like 6-10 with 5-11 a distinct option.
23. Oakland Raiders- This is another up and coming team, perhaps a year behind Tampa, Detroit and St. Louis. A slight regression because of the different head coach and lack of Nnamdi any more. 5-11, with 6-10 a maybe.
24. Minnesota Vikings- Favre DESTROYED this team. Nothing on O except Peterson. 7-9 is the ceiling, 4-12 the basement.
25. Tennessee Titans- They might be better than this if CJ ends the holdout. If not, it will destroy what chemistry is left and sent them to 4-12 or 3-13. If he comes back, 6-10 or 5-11 is realistic.
26. San Francisco 49ers- We're not placing them 30th only because they have a mediocre QB in Alex Smith. Other than that, I see no more than 6-10 here.
27. Cleveland Browns- Notice the revolving theme from 27-32? Lack of a QB. McCoy is better than the rest, so they come to rest at 5-11.
28. Washington Redskins- Because Shanahan can make any team have one more win than they're supposed to. 4-12.
29. Denver Broncos- No QB, bad chemistry, no D. All adds up to 4-12 or 3-13.
30. Carolina Panthers- Newton will develop well with the right coaching. For now though, they aren't going anywhere. 3-13.
31. Buffalo Bills- No D, No O, good kicker. Sounds like 2000 Ravens minus the D and slight O. Ugh. 2-14.
32. Cincinnati Bengals- A team in a lengthy downward spiral. It's going to take 4 years to rebuild this team. 2-14 is a possibility.
So division by division:
AFC East:
1. New England Patriots at 15-1. 2. New York Jets at 11-5. 3. Miami Dolphins at 6-10. 4. Buffalo Bills at 2-14.

Seeds:

1. New England defeats 6. New York 31-17 2. Baltimore defeats 5. Pittsburgh 21-20

| Even though I'm in Browns territory and I don't root for them, I'd predict better than 5-11. Interesting picks tho. +1 |

| Feyenoord is the club of the working class. Known for hooligans, widely known to have the most loyal fans. And has had great success in the past winning their last domestic price in 1998 and their last international price in 2002. (Their last cup win was 2008 though) The last couple years have been quite dissapointing though and the club experiences financial struggles.
Thats what im looking for |

| Since we're being loose with the term football, Ohio State has beat Michigan (lolgay) 7 years in a row to date. Yeah, Michigan pretty much sucks for a D1 team. Can't wait to see that easy W again at the end of this NCAA season. It's too bad Ohio State players are dumbasses. Lmao, I've seen Michigan fans over the internet making fun of our program for that. It's funny cause they suck.
Excuse this post if you must. It's a state law here to hate Michigan. |
