Alright, I don't know what of these are free and what cost money, but here are the apps I have found fun/useful.

GAMES:
Angry Birds- Self explanatory.
Line Runner- An awesome game.
Hexago- A mind challenger.
Words with Friends- The second best app ever. Ranks up there with Angry Birds. Basically online scrabble.
DoodleJump- Another awesome game.
Field Goal- Kick field goals with flicking.
World's Hardest Game- off of addictinggames. If you've playted it there, this is a whole different challenge.
Any quiz game- they have them for every topic. Aerosmith and Rock and Roll are two I have.
Soduku- If you like the game.
Bloons- YUS.
Tiny Wings- Another cool game.


OTHERS

Accuweather- weather app. Has radar, hourly and 15-day forecasts all within one touch.
iheartradio- This one cost something. Good for getting radio when you have wifi but no radio.
Flashlight- With the brightness turned up all the way this thing will light a room pretty damned well.
Free Wifi- (There are many of these) Find free wifi spots.
Doodle Buddy- Another multiple option one. Good for when you're bored.
truTV- good for watching some insane videos
Bible- This one is self explanatory
ScoreCenter- good for sports scores. Fully customizable.
CoolFacts- another I'm bored, wtf do I do app.
Battery Magic- A pretty accurate app to tell you how much battery you have left.
Demotivational Poster Creator- creates the same posters using photos you have on your iTouch.

That's it. I have more, but those are the only ones I use or think you might use. Get a free app app too, one that lists apps that are free for a limited time. Those are handy.
