So how bout Hafner's game winning homer against Seattle last night? I'll set the stage....

4-2 Seattle going into the ninth. Indians are home. Bottom of the ninth, leadoff double, scores. Guy on 3rd now with 1 out. 4th hitter/C Carlos Santana is up. He's hitting 'below the area code' (which is 216 in Cleveland, which is no good really). He grounds out. 2 outs, which is where the Indians do the most damage. 5th hitter (former 4th hitter) DH Travis Hafner comes up. He's been with the Tribe longer than most people, and he's struggled the past couple years with injuries and such. This year he's hitting like .340-.350 and I have no idea why he isn't clean up man. Walkoff homerun to dead center




Indians are #1 in baseball...yes? No, they're 1 game behind Philly for #1 in baseball, but still #1 in the A.L. Talk about a turnaround for a group talented young players (and that true man Travis Hafner)

In case you didn't get it, it's a hill going normal, up high, down to normal, REALLY down, then normal again.

Cleveland will choke at the end of the season like they always do.

You'll finish somewhere around 85 wins. I doubt you'll make the playoffs though.

If the O's had half an offense, we'd have beaten the Yankees on April 14, Indians on April 17, Twins on April 21, Royals on May 3, Rays on May 8, Rays on May 13. That's 6 losses by one or two runs. We'd be 23-14 versus 17-20 and be tied with the Tribe for the best AL team.

Excuses don't make up for losses. You said yourself that the O's have no offense. If they were better, they would win games. Sure. Hell, if the Indians were as 'better' as the Oreals were 'better' in that scenario, we would be under 10 losses. Do you get what I mean?

A lucky start is 2-3 weeks tops. It's half way through May and we're great. Keep saying we're gonna fail when we're still on the field winning through October.

In the case that they win only 85 games, we would have to go 61 - 64. You can't SERIOUSLY believe that we're gonna go below .500 the rest of the season dude......................................yes we are a Cleveland team but this isn't just luck, like winning the NBA lotto to draft LeBron James who brought the dead last placed team to a championship because he was the whole team. No, we have great pitchers, and great offense and defensive threat. It's young players playing with confidence. Try and stop us

Players playing with confidence can seriously help a team. But let's see how you come out of the next 7 series:

If you manage out of those 20 games to win 12, I'll consider you a legit team. But there's no way I'm doing so right now.
