| So, I've just seen someone talking about general chat forums at XenForo.com Forums, then Fuji popped up in my head, heehee.. http://www.fujiplanet.net/t7212-a-dying-planet - And I know about this thread as well. I'm not really suggesting Fuji moves, but if you guys are fine with it, I can organize a few things. If the transfer fails, it'll have no affect on the current forum. What I Can Organize :- I can get all of the posts/threads and member accounts moved to a new host. ( passwords might need to be changed ) - I can get the domain name ( FujiPlanet.net ) to be used on the new host. - I have another XenForo license, worth $140 US, just there for style waiting to be used. ( XenForo is awesome ) - I have $200 US to waste which I recently earned from the Internet, which can be used for web hosting, blah blah blah.. - Lightning fast page loading speed. Also, I can optimize the pages of the forum for search engines, so we can finally gain traffic and maybe even members from search engines. Tell me what you think? I might not be online much in May/June, due to exams,  |

Well, to be honest, that was what I was going to do,  . ( I have enough money for hosting, domain renewals, blah blah blah... I know SEO... )
PS. It'll be hard to sell a forumotion forum.
Or, the price for it might be low, because you can't get the database and you have to pay $20 to get your domain from ForuMotion. ( that's what I payed Typlo )
Also, most likely the buyer might just close the forum and redirect the domain to another site. ( trying to join another general chat forum with members of Fuji ) |
