Well, if it was for medical purposes, it probably wouldn't be available OTC but only be prescription, and the prescription of drugs is already under extremely strict governance...

Exactly. If they allow Marijuana OTC, might as well just make it legal. I'm fine with it if it helps terminally ill people. Everyone else, suck it up.

No Victoria. It is legal in 28% of states. The other 72% it cannot be medically perscribed.

Well if it isn't medically prescribed, it isn't medical marijuana. If you are asking if it should be legal to prescribe it, than yes, I think it should be....but I think it should be legal for everyone anyway so I guess it doesn't really matter. Razz

Here's my thinking:

In GENERAL, people who smoke Marijuana are typically criminals in some other form. Not saying everyone who smokes is, but most people are. Therefore, if they make it legal and they smoke more of it because it's more widely available, then it will kill off more criminals and therefore lower crime rates. Also, it will generate more GDP and therefore boost the economy. Lower crime rate and better economy. Win-Win.

I agree that it should be legal for everyone, but I thought everyone would be against it. This is a better argument. Is ANYONE against it?

Glad to set a record. But it's opinion, ignorant or not, and I have a right to it.

Also, making marijuana legal in itself decreases the crime rate due to less arrests for marijuana possession, possession with intent to distribute, etc.

Weed should be legal in you smoke at a private property (home.) But if you go out and smoke it you get in trouble for it.

I'm glad you can't smoke in public places here any more. That law was passed not too long ago
