I guess the first thing to ask would be does such a thing exist? If so, some of the more knowledgeable guitar people here, can you recommend anything?

Check your local music stores than sell lessons. Sometimes when you sign up for 6 months or so of lessons you get a free acoustic guitar.

haha no. You can get plenty of acoustic guitars for under 200, even under 100. But the really good ones are like a grand.

Nothing GREAT for under two benjamins. Taylors are good but they're over mostly over your limit I think.

From scrolling over the types they offer, it's waaay out of my price range. I might be able to go up to 300, but I would have to ask my parents.

My Uncle in Cali has one but I never got to play it lol. It was awesome. Maybe a used one can get within the range, IMO I'd wait and save up more, but Idk your situation.

my first bass guitar was very cheap, like 400 dollars (cheap as far as basses go). But after playing it for a year i proved that i had interest in continuing to play it so my dad got me a reallly nice $1400 fender american deluxe jazz bass. heres a pic:

about a year later my teacher was so impressed with me that he bought me these really nice strings and made it sound 100 times more awesome. so my advice to you is that if you practice your guitar alot and show you have a lot of interest in it, you might get a really nice one eventually
