And here's how far the Steelers were from not making it:

-Ravens beat them at home Week 13. Ravens are 13-3; #2 seed. Steelers are 11-5. They still make it, but they have a much tougher road.
-Ravens beat New England in NE Week 5. Ravens are 13-3; #1 seed. Pats are 12-4; #2 seed. Steelers still make it at 12-4, but as the #5 seed.
-Ravens beat NE AND Pit; Ravens 14-2; #1 seed. NE 12-4; #2 seed. Pit; 11-5, #5 seed.
