No, it's because no one plays it. We have the equivalent: baseball.

I'd say cricket is harder than baseball.

Now, I don't know exactly what cricket involves, but I doubt it's harder than trying to hit a 95-mph fastball 400 feet.

The faster the ball is thrown, the father is travels from a bat...however, the faster it's thrown, the harder it is to make contact with. Ein, you and I both play baseball but neither of us fast 90 MPH pitchers or have the capability to hit the ball 400 feet. One day, we will be playing in the Majors, if not the Minors which was would be just as cool, and we will be. But until then, let's just agree that we don't know which sport takes more skill, since whoever plays one doesn't often play the other.

Nooo cricket is harder, the 11 players from both sides have to play for 5 days, each starts at around 10am and finshes at 6pm with only 2 hours of break. Sometimes you can bat in the hot sun for most of the day or you have to field for a whole day.
I think cricket is much harder.

Also if no one plays cricket, why are they competing in the cricket world cup this year.

Ein, I'd 90 MPH is almost exactly the same speed that a a cricket ball gets bowled(around 140km/h). And it gets bowled, so it does bounce.
