We need to get this section more active

The glow lines effect looks bad, tbh. You should remove the white in the middle and just adjust the white in the middle to the colour of the outline glow. You should remove the gradient overlay from the text, just make it plain black, that shoud look better. And maybe try to let the lines run over the text.

you know, this is my longest post ever in this section.

It wasnt a gradient overlay, it was a shrunken selection feathered by a ton for both black and white. And for the glow effect, I was just drawing random lines

I'll try taking out the white on the lines and putting it over the text. Thanks for the idea.
