1. so true.
2. most likely because you are already asleep during when a thunderstorm happens and you've already awoken when there's an assembly you've already awoken during that day, making it harder to fall asleep again.
3. wait what
4. wow I honestly have never thought of that...that's actually pretty true.

Nice job!
I guess the third one means that someone who always changes their mind can never write a book.

And for the second one i don't think the quote is meant to be taken literally. I think it means that society forged people to close their eyes to something terrible and open their eyes to unimportant things.

Interesting quotes. The 4th is so true, how we created religion and then how it affected us.

"A starving army is worse than no army at all" - Napoleon
"Religion is excellent stuff for keeping common people quiet. "

1. Agreed x10
2. Lol, you get in trouble if you sleep through an assembly
3. Changing your mind often does make writing a book difficult
4. Sums up the beliefs of people that believe in evolution in 1 sentence

1. I agree. Its not always true that having something is better than not having it at all. Especially if the costs outweigh the positives
2. It is indeed

1. Perfect.

3. I can see that happening to someone.
4. No comment.

Ninjas.

Whatif wrote:

Thunderstorms usually calm people; commonplace assemblies are usually associated with importance.

Whatif wrote:

I don't really know what to make of this.

Whatif wrote:

True. But Gods also created idiots.

Well, Douglas Adams wrote that in The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Just though to educate you guys a bit more. I'm on the second book of that series.

Well, since everyone has given their thought on it. I created all those quotes.
