| I'm not exactly sure what period of Latin you are referring to, but in the period that I am currently sutdying (1st century AD), there were U's. So I am honestly not sure what you're talking about.
Here are some Latin words that start with u, as well as their English meanings:
ubi- where or when (interrogative conjunction)
Unde- From where?
undecimus- eleventh
unus- one
urbs- city
uxor- wife
There are no W's or K's in Latin.

| Video Game Cats (VG Cats) has 13 letters in it, and is therefore unlucky.
Now this is obviously untrue as VG Cats is epic and is not unlucky in anyway, but this proves my previous statement as to how I could pretty much turn any phrase bad if I feel like it. |

This part sorta makes sense, even though i know for a fact that they has U's in Latin.
