Services 2.0

Hello Fuji Planet Members!

Today, I, along with the rest of the staff, am proud to announce Services 2.0! Yes, we have decided to upgrade our three services, graphics, reviews, and the arcade, in order to increase their activity and make them more interesting and fun to use. Without further ado, here are the new updates, by section:

Graphic Section
Tutorial section - here you can find graphic tutorials for various programs from beginner to advanced levels made by our graphic designers and the rest of the staff, or any other user. You may also find other graphic resources and good tutorial sites. Visit it here.

Gallery revival - the gallery is being revived. Remember to post in the Gallery Suggestion Thread for images you think deserve to be in the gallery. Visit the gallery here.

Review Section
Review of the month - every month, a review will either be written or picked by the staff as the review of the month, as each chosen review will be exceptional examples of what our users write. Each review chosen should help spark some activity into the section and draw in attention to the section.

Reviewing contest - this will come out the same time as the level editor contest, after Survivor Fuji 2 ends. The prize may vary from either a reviewer position to a lot of Fuji Bucks and a rank. Check out the previous contest here.

Arcade
Weekly completion points - as some of you have guessed, we are coming out with a new system in the arcade called Completion Points. If you can complete the task and provide a screenshot proving it, then you will receive the designated amount of points, which will show up in the Completion Points slot below your avatar. Heres how the system will work: every week, the arcade managers will rank new games weekly and they will be worth double points for that week. Once that week is over, the game will be worth its normal amount of points. This is arguably the biggest part of the update, so enjoy!

Boombot level editor - we have added a new level editor to the arcade! In the section you can play the game, create and share your own levels, play other peoples' levels, and talk about the game! Visit the section here.

Level editor contest - yes, another level editor contest is coming soon! When Survivor Fuji 2 ends, the contest will begin. It is much like the previous contest, however this time it will use the new Boombot level editor! Check out the previous contest here.

Also, along with these updates, new rules regarding bumping in the services will now take effect. Here are the sections that you are now allowed to bump freely:

Graphic Section:

-Gallery
-Your Creations

Review:
-Self Reviews
-Archives

Arcade:
-Everything

Just saying, I don't think that the reviewing contest and the Level Editing Contest should be done at the same time.

MORE FANCY ANNOUNCEMENTS....

some of the updates seem epic.

Perhaps a section in the arcade to recommend games already on the arcade for challenge status?
