Okay, you're the leader of a country and your at war with another evenly matched country, you've been at war for a few years and both of the countries are hurting bad, how do you end it?

If you went to war with them: Tell them that you made a mistake, you will withdraw all troops from their country, and try to repair their economy as much as you can.

If they went to war with you: Fight back in hope that you will win, but your country will end up going into poverty and most of the people will be killed

I'd be like, "fuck you." and kill them all... like a boss. Unless they're super wealthy, then I'd take their money and go guerilla warfare on their asses. :S

Oh and what I forgot to add to my previous comment was two words: atomic bomb

Make the world's most powerful bomb and bomb it on them.

I would hold their leaders hand and frolick through some flowers to make up

I would have a line of bombers drop regular high explosive bombs over every 20 square feet of teh country and then i'd have another line with incendiary bombs do the same, followed by bombs containing mutated plague virus.

I think a nutron bomb would also work, then you arn't conquerer of an irradiated & demolished city, you are conquerer of city filled with dead people.

Basically you wont have to rebuild the darn thing.

Call a press conference and announce it like football coaches do xD
