Of course, I would like to bring forth the issue of Online Censorship and any proposed laws of such. Now, while researching for a Legal Studies paper, I came across Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights:

“Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.”

Now, the first and last lines of Article 19 of the UDHR contain relevance to the issue of internet has the right to freedom of opinion, and to seek and receive information through censorship, or could be perceived to contain such. It contradicts this entire issue, with it stating that each individual any media (i.e. internet) regardless of any barriers/boundaries put in place; the issue at hand here being whether or not these two articles should be truncated by way of limiting exactly how much freedom of expression an individual is entitled to.

Neither, we are discussing why there are censorship laws in place when they clearly contradict said article, and on principle the article was there first so the laws should gtfo.

That's not the only law created that contradicts the constitution. They do it all the time but are able to get away with it through technicalitites

The books are full of numorous laws which are utter bs and compleatly pointless and are simularly filled with loopholes and technicalities and unfairness.

Basically if you knew every loophole and technicallity in the laws of your state and the federal government you could comment any crime you wanted and get away with it. It would be total Bullshit, but they wouldn't be able to legally convict you of anything.

one thing that annoys me when im watching a vid online or a tv show thats censored and the person says Goddammit, they sensor out the God part but not the Dammit part.
