Kyocera Loft vs. LG Rumor 2

Kyocera Loft Summary

There are some great things about the Kyocera Loft cell phone. One of them is that the phone has a full QWERTY keyboard great for texting and other messaging. You can also easily access Facebook and MySpace. The phone is also good for browsing other things on the web. You can search through Google, Twitter, Yahoo, and more. The screen is 2.2 inches, which is a great size, because it is not too big in the sense that it makes the phone look big and bulky, but it is still big enough so that all of the text and images are not too crammed together, and are very clear and visible. Like most phones these days, in contains the ability of hands-free Bluetooth and speakerphone. The phone has a bit of a blackberry look and feel. There are many multimedia features on the phone, although you do need to do a bit of searching for it because there are not many easy shortcuts programmed. The chat and other messaging is nice, but you also need to do a bit of searching (clicking a lot of buttons and going through a lot of menus) to get to those things. The keys on the phone are slightly raised about the rest of the phone, and they are a little bit cramped. It has a camera which is great, however it is only 1.3 megapixels, which is decent, but not the best considering most phones have at least 2.0 megapixel cameras.

LG Rumor 2 Summary (Includes some personal thoughts from experience)

There are also some great things and not so great things about the LG Rumor 2. Personally, I would not advise anyone to get a phone from LG if they are planning on using it a lot each day. For example, it would not be very great for anyone using it for business, or anyone who wants to use it to message their friends very frequently. The LG Rumor 2 is not the best when it comes to durability. It has a very long yet skinny design to it. The phone does slide open, even though it is not necessary for you to do so. On the outside, when the phone is closed, there is a standard keyboard (not QWERTY) but when you open it, you find a full QWERTY keyboard. You can easily access Facebook and MySpace on this phone, and it has a 1.3 megapixel camera. The screen is only 2.0 inches long, a little small and crammed, but not too bad.

Comparison & The Winner

Both the Kyocera Loft, and the LG Rumor 2 are phones with many amazing features. However, they are very different phones. The one in which is better all must be determined on which type of phone you enjoy having/using. Both have a 1.3 Megapixel camera, so there is not much of a difference there; accept for exactly how much it can hold. Both have pretty small memories, however, the Kyocera Loft does NOT have a slot for a Micro SD card. The LG Rumor 2, DOES have a Micro SD slot. I personally think that this is a huge factor. As far as messaging, they are both very similar, both have full QWERTY keyboards, although with the LG Rumor 2, you must slide open the phone to use it. There are lot more available accessories for the LG Rumor 2 which is of course, a plus. To be honest, the Kyocera Loft, seems more like a wannabe Blackberry than a creative phone, while the LG Rumor 2, although it is similar to some other phones, has a very unique style. It still depends on your preferences but according to most people, including me, it appears the winner must be the…

Bam..your review constantly said the Loft was good and the Rumor 2 was bad. You should have said the stuff in the conclusion in the actual review. Not bad for a first, though.
