Information about it:

It is a puzzle game which you can get it on Wiiware, Windows, Mac and Linux by 2D Boy. The game was released on the 13th October 2008, on Wiiware, Steam (Windows) and Windows official site. On the 2nd November 2008, it was released on the MAC OS X (Official Site), on the 14th February 2009, it was released on Linux. And finally on the 12th May 2010, it was released on MAC OS X (Steam). You can play it with one player or with a friend on the Wii or Linux, the wiiware version is slightly more popular than the PC version. You can buy it from $10-$30 on the computer while it costs 1500 Points on Wiiware, which is about $22.50. There are free version you can get from the computer, and was available on Wiiware.

The game:

The game is about trying to get a number of blobs from one place to another. There are many types of blobs, including black blobs, red blobs, sticky blobs, and dead blobs (and there are others). The game has 5 chapters including over 40 levels, the game starts pretty easy, however, when playing on, it starts getting really hard. The game is hand-drawn levels and the plot are both charming; The plot is when pipes start appearing in the game, which wake up the blobs which have been asleep, when the blobs start stacking up to get to these pipes, they end up getting sucked in the World of Goo corporation. The blobs get changed into many things, including drinks, the excess blobs are used for building a tower which starts growing.

Development:

What amazed people was that only 2 people created the World Of Goo game, Kyle Gabler and Ron Carmel. Apparently, they created there game from there computer from Wi-Fri enabled cafes. There budget was $10000, but, it was also for rent, food and minimal equipment.
