Should I buy it?:

Yes, you should, it is a great game that many people would like, easy players will love it, hardcore players will love it too. It basically the best game ever, but don't take my word for it, Official Nintendo magazine rated it #1 as best Nintendo game ever! You can find it at a second-hand gaming shop, but if you want to get the game cheap, your best bet is Virtual Console, only worth 500 points. 1000 points is worth 15 dollars, so, 500 points is worth $7.50, the sequels are also good too.

Review:

The game was released in 1985, as the first official Mario Game but Mario's third official appearance in a game. The plot is that Bowser kidnaps Princess Peach, he was known has King Koopa in the game. This plot has been used in almost all of the platformer games Mario has been in, from Super Mario World to Super Mario Galaxy 2, he won't give up. You can aslo play as Luigi, but only if you are playing in a 2 player game, basically having the same role has Mario. The game sold 40.21 Million games, and was also known has the top selling game, before Wii Sports oversold the game. The game has 8 worlds and 4 levels. Including a castle level on each level 4. The game has 4 power-ups, including Super Mushroom, 1-UP Mushroom, Starman and Fire Flower, to get these, you need to smash a box with a ? mark on it. As well as Power-ups, you can get coins from ? boxes, or you get coins from just plain boxes too. There are enemies too, including the most common, Goomba, Koopa Troopa and Piranha Plant. In the castle level, you try and pass all the
obstacles before fighting a boss, they all look like Bowser, but, they are different enemies in disguise. The 8th castle is the real Boswer however, and when you beat the real Bowser, you rescue Princess Peach and win! The big glitch in Super Mario Bro's is the Minus World, when you go through a solid wall, it might be possible you go to a level called Level -1. This level looks like level 1-3 that's underwater and with hammer bro's, Bowser and multiple Princess Peach's. Level -2 is a identical copy of 7-3, and Level -3 is a copy of level 4-4, but with flying bloopers and no Bowser. And the lava is replaced with water, when finished this level, you go back to the screen that looks like you win! There have been many Alternative versions of this game, here they are. The first one is Vs. Super Mario Bros, which is basically a harder version of Super Mario Bro's, another one is called All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros, the game is basically the same expect the enemies look like famous Japanese people. Another one is called Super Mario Bro's Special, which is a computer version of the game, the graphic's and gameplay are the same, the difference is that there are new enemies and it's level design is different and scrolls differently. Another game is called Super Mario All Stars, which have Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros, the lost levels, Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario World. The last game is Super Mario Bro's Deluxe, the game had, overworld map, simultaneous multiplayer, a challenge mode and 8 additional worlds that you could unlock, sound like a good game Wink. So, you know, people keep telling me too change my ending, so i got to think up of a new one, goodbye, until my next review.

Nice, though i would not label it "Short Review" and "Long Review". I would just make one long review. And if you want to make it sound professional I would not say at the end "This is the end of my review, by!". Lol, think of something creative Wink.

I agree with Jake. Just have the long review, and on the top maybe write a short summary of it.

Staff Message: they really shouldn't make these edit-able.

You're right. Except you can edit it only because you're in the GFX designers group.
