| Hey, its Jshushij. Bri, here is the edited version of your review that I did for you. DIARY OF A WIMPY KID | Spoiler: | | | |
Usually, this book series is for people 9+.
Main Review: | Spoiler: | | | The message of the story is, in light of troublemaking because it's part of the humor, there are consequences and lessons kids can easily learn about what the main character should have done. Also, the book may entice kids to start their own journals. A big part of the book's humor is Greg's cluelessness about what would have kept him out of trouble and why his parents, teachers, and friends are upset with him. Readers get this message in the humor. Greg mistreats his underdog friend Rowley more than a few times, but this comes back to haunt him. Greg's parents try hard to lead him in the right direction; his mom is especially formidable in a few situations. Rowley's dad looks up video games on a parent web site to see if they have too much violence. As for violence in this book, there is many occasions of such actions. Greg draws pictures of kids getting pushed around by bullies at school. Teens chase him in a truck and make Rowley eat something disgusting. Greg breaks Rowley's hand in a dangerous stunt. Maturity-wise, this book is a good coming-of-age novel and begins to disguss boys and girls becoming interested in one another. Boys notice girls at school. Greg's older brother gets in trouble for letting their baby brother bring a magazine picture of a girl in a bikini to show-and-tell. His mom makes him apologize to all women on paper. Language-wise, this book isn't too bad. Kids get in trouble in Independent Study for writing down all the swear words they know -- but you don't see any of the words, and it's for a pretty innocent reason. "Jerk," "morons," and "fart" are the strongest words used in the cartoons. Greg tries to listen to his brother's Parent Advisory-labeled music and gets caught. Drugs, and alcohol:-wise, this book is good for young readers and does not contain much of it. There is one occurance though. In an anti-smoking poster contest at school, Greg loses to a kid who he says smokes at least a pack of cigarettes a day. |
(Note: This is on the first Book.). |

| Nice. It would be better if you put that all into one or two paragraphs instead of different sections though. |

| I edited the review so it will be acceptable. I edited the original post and will post this so people will see it. I corrected spelling and grammar flaws, pasted it into one main paragraph, added transition sentences, and corrected some poor word choice. Basically, I edited it down for you. Here is the finished product: DIARY OF A WIMPY KID | Spoiler: | | | |

| Yeah.. I moved this back to the review section because I wanted to say something. Bri did not write this review. He ripped. Link to what he ripped from: http://www.commonsensemedia.org/book-reviews/diary-wimpy-kid If you google bits and pieces of his review it leads to that every time. And in the description of the site in google, you know, under the link, it says exactly what you googled from his review. |

| Guys, this review is done. I unlocked it to point our Briane's review was not his, and he didn't give credit to the site he 100% copied his review from either. |
