The form is not necessary, but it will definitely help the graphics designer know what you want.
The form does not have to be usable in the case of:

• Just make an image have transparency
  
• Very simple request
  
• Small edit
  
• etc.
  

I would just like to add to ease the job of the GFXers, if your request takes time, give them the time to do it. It's common courtesy that should, should be common sense. Also, if you see that there are 4 or 5 requests in the section, give even more time. If you need a graphic within a certain time frame, let us know in your first post and the GFXers will try to accommodate your needs as best they can. Also, people who have contributed more to the forum are going to get first priority, sometimes whether you posted first or not. We're noa graphics forum and we don't make guarantees. Sorry, but it's a fact and it's just plain common courtesy. If you don't like it, too bad.
